1607 InstallShield Error when Installing Digital Camera SW

I purchased 2 new different digital cameras and cannot
install the software for either - I get a RUntime error:
1607: unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime

Any ideas? I'm on Windows XP. CD ROM works OK, can
install other software.

HELP!
