Reading about this update, it seems to be for Windows XP, but some material
specifies Windows XP Pro. Some learned soul can tell us all if it applies
to both XP versions or not.
TIA

That update applies to Windows XP Pro. The Microsoft Knowledge
Base article makes no reference to XP Home Edition.

Thanks, Nicholas...MS Update keeps offering this update to me. I guess it
doesn't know I have the Home Edition. And the release makes it seem the
update applies to both versions.
I appreciate your help.
