Error: Multiple Exporer Errors: Recycle Bin, Search and File Deletion

I constantly get an error msg when I attempt to Empty my
Recyle Bin, do a Search for files or attempt to delete
any file thru Windows explorer. This started after an
auto update, but I have no idea when. Any Help? Thanks

Go to Classic Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs. Look for Hotfix
811493 and remove it. Also, go to
Start>Run type: sfc /scannow Have your winxp cd in the cd drive.
