When I converted from Windows 98 to Windows XP Home
Edition, I did a new installation. I did a right-click on
my C drive and under properties-general it tells me that I
have FAT 16 instead of FAT32. There are no partitions and
my hard drive is 20GB. What can I do to resolve this
problem? Thanks.

You have to have One Partition and thats C: You can convert from Fat16
to NTFS. Which is a good idea anyway.
Take a look here.
