When I try to run some programs I get an error that I
have over 500 fonts and I must delete some. I don't know
which ones come with Windows XP. Almost all of them are
truetype fonts. I don't want to delete any fonts that
came with Windows. How can I tell which ones I can safely
delete? Thanks Janice. Please email me the answer.

The following fonts are included with Windows XP and are installed on every
computer:

Courier New (TrueType, including Bold, Italic, and Bold Italic variations)

Arial (TrueType, including Bold, Italic, and Bold Italic variations)

Times New Roman (TrueType, including Bold, Italic, and Bold Italic
variations)

Symbol (TrueType)

Wingdings (TrueType)

MS Serif

MS Sans Serif

Please note that many programs also install their own fonts which are
required to be used in that particular program. You would need to examine
what programs you have installed and what their default fonts are.

Sorry I couldn't be of any further assistance.
