View Full Version : PC to TV - picture problem with video

I have connected my Latitude D810 to my PC via an S3 combo cable. I can get a
perfect picture of my laptop screen. When I try to play a video or DVD I get
full sound, the outline of the media player and it's controls but a black
area where the video should be. I have tried Windows Media Player, Videolan
and PowerDVD with the same result.
I apreciate that I am doing something wrong but I would be grateful if
somebody could tell me what it is.
Many thanks.

Either make the tv monitor the primary monitor, using the graphics card
properties, or turn off acceleration,
