Win XP - Event ID 15

Hi,

I keep experiencing long delay when doing the File -->Open
action. After checking to the event viewer, Event ID 15
shows up alot in the log. It goes like this:
"The device, \Device\Harddisk1\D, is not ready for access
yet."

I am using an IBM 80Gb 7200rpm hard disk, running on Win
XP

Anyone know what could be the problem here?

Thanks! but can't really find any solution there.
tried microsoft support but it only mention event id 15
error with SCSI port but not hard disk.
