Getting errors while going to outlook and mcafee

When using the above programs I repeatedly get the
following:
"Internet Explorer Script Error
Error: The data area passed to a system call is too small
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?"
I can not get rid of this box whatever I do.
What does "running scripts" mean?
This has happended latelly, please help.

Control panel--internet options--advanced--put an X on 'disable script
debugging' and remove the X from the next line 'display notification------'
