WMP 9 won't play/start Video contents on the Web

I can play CDs and Video with Windows Media Player 9, but if I click on
a link to
play something through the web (on-line), WMP won't play/start. Any
clue why this
happening?

What happens? What type of link are you clicking on? What file type is the
link you're clicking on?
