View Full Version : Disconnects

Recently upgraded to Windows Messenger 5.1 and have noticed that I am
apparently showing Offline after approximately 5 minutes of having signed
in. I sign in again and after about another 5 minutes or so it happens
again. When I try to alter my status through the interface I get a message
that says, "Your status could not be changed. Please try again." Has
anyone else seen this issue? I tried going back to version 4.7 but it did
not help.
Thanks
Randy

I am having the exact same problem, windows messenger disconnects after
a few minutes online.
Worst thing is I installed 5.1 over msn messsenger 7.5 because of the
loss of time the latter implies, and most of the people in the office
complained quite a lot about this.
Windows XP SP2 + netgear router w/original firmware.
