Subject programs launches at startup, and immediately
consumes 99% of the CPU capbility. Obviously, this
brings the CPU to a near stop for everything else. I
have opened Task Manager, and "ended" the process which
immediately frees up the CPU and things run like they
should. I have not noticed any negative effect from
stopping the process.
Other than seeing it in the WINDOWS\Prefecth file area, I
can't seem to figure out what program launches it, or
what purpose it is supposed to serve. I went through my
STARTUP folder, activating each program one at a time,
and found that NETD32.EXE appeared after opening a
program called "Worldchat". I removed "Worldchat" from
my STARTUP folder, but NETD32.EXE loaded again after I re-
booted the computer.
Would appreciate any input as to how I mogiht get rid of
this problem. Opening TASK MANAGER at STRTUP and
stopping the program each time I boot the computer is
not "optimum" by any means. :-)
Thanks.
