My temporary internet folder in Doucuments and
Settings/User/Local Settings shows no folders and no
files. However, when I right click on the folder and
click on properties it shows there are 21 folders and
thousands of files. I want to delete these files but I
don't know where they are, how to get to them and how to
delete them.
I have turned off "hide protected operatiing system
files" and have set "Show hidden files and folders under
Folder Options.
Help would be appreciated.

Will, thanks for the response. That seems to have workded.
but there are still 6 folders and 12 files holding 7.15
MB. I can't imagine what could be that big.

Hi
After I clear my TIF folder via IE, that folder in Windows Explorer =
shows nothing in it. Can you access that folder via a command prompt =
and then type "dir /a/s" - without the quotes. That will show all =
subfolders and files still left in the TIF folder. You might get some =
idea of what is there from the names of the files.

The only files I can find after the clearing out are 6 'desktop.ini' =
files, which I normally leave in-place anyway - total space 402 bytes. =
I don't know what is taking up 7.15 Mbs.
