I get the message noted in knowledge base article Q327120
about a changed protected file needing to be overwritten.
When I click "yes" to let it write the new file, the
system reboots itself. I've tried several times, and it
still crashes. I tried installing from the Windows update
page, then downloaded the SP and am running it locally. I
tried to do all the critical updates, and it bluescreens
when trying to install those hotfixes as well.
ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? (other than to reformat and
reinstall!)
