Recent defrag resulted in 2 files that could not be
defragmented. Is there are way to corrected this
condition?

Gene,

It depends on what these 2 files are and how badly fragmented they are.

If all you have is these 2 fragmented files and they are in a very small
number of fragments then don't worry.

Prompted by Will's suggestion I defragged again to find
out just what files are not defragged. They are
Frag 2 1MB ea. \WINDOWS\SYSTEM 32\query.dll
Maybe not much to worry about?

Hi

I don't think that not defragging those 2 files is a worry, but I'm =
wondering why those 2 files can't be defragged. =20
