I just installed windows XP Pro.
When I right click on start and go to exlore to review my
explorer, something looks strange.
When I look in C:/Windows I see all the windows files
listed as $NT Uninstall with letters and numbers, such as
$NT Uninstall Q 30921$
What does this mean?
Should I not see all the windows directory for XP as in
Win/98.
Advise,
Sal

I think those are Windows Update Uninstall files. To see all your files in
the C:\Windows Directory you have to go to
Windows Explorer>Tools>Folder Options. Click on the Show hidden files and
folders button and uncheck Hide protected operating system files.
