Application violates WinXP color scheme

Unfortunately, it's up to the application to respect the
user choices...there's currently no built-in OS mechanism
to "force" apps to do this, although the OS does make it
incredibly easy for the app to do.

Your best bet is to ask on a Canon newsgroup, sadly.
