I add a memory module to my compaq 723RSH, an increase
from 128 standard (built in)to 384 (256 module) The
system began to lockup or freeze with regularity as in
every few minutes. HP (compaq)tech support advised me
that I would have to remove all windows update. I did and
I have not had any more probems, But it would be nice to
have the updates, especialy the ones that deal with
security issues. Does MS have a patch for this memory
conflict?
