downloading from a file sharing site

Hi
If I download a film from a file sharing site such as limewire what do i
need in order to convert it in to a dvd format that will enable me to watch
it via a dvd player rather than just on my pc?

You would need to use your third party DVD burning software to create a
video DVD.
