Windows XP Freeze

Hello,

When I right click on any folder in the desktop, Windows
XP freezes up. If I double click to see files inside it,
it works no problem. Sometimes I can even continue to do
things after I right click and it freezes up, but
eventually it locks up completely. I haven't installed
anything recently. Any ideas what this could be? Please
help!
