I made a video from my webcam with Movie Maker, saved it, then tryed to play
it on WMP. I got the message: Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If
the file is on another computer (no on the same computer), verify that you
are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verity that it is correct.
If the problem persists the server might not be available. I saved the movie
to a folder on the same computer
When I sent the movie to a friend he got the file as an Adobe File and
unable to open.
Please I need some help

You might try, downloading WM encoder from microsoft,in the encoder
select capture audio/video,after youre thru collecting, you can/could run
the file back thru the encoder, then try WMP.

I reckon you have saved the movie project a .mswmm file and not the movie
iteslf, see here

If it's to watch on a pc though, you may want to save as a high quality wmv
and not dv-avi.
