I am new to movie making and probably have been making a silly mis-step
somewhere. But.....
Can one make a movie with the Windows Movie Maker, save it to a CD or DVD
and play it back on any DVD player, other then a computer?
I can not make this work presently.
I can play it back on my computer from the CD or DVD and on another
compouter but not on a DVD play outside of the computer.
Question; Shouldn't this play on any DVD player other then computer? If
so how??

No it won't work like that.
Movie maker is editing only at present, or HiMat versions on cd's. You need
dvd authoring software to make your dvd.

Thank you for your response. I found out that I have a third party software
on my computer that will do the task. I can make the video in movie maker
and then use "Sonic Digital Home" to get it from file, input into Sonic as a
project, save it and burn to a VCD.
