I can't do this with my extensive folder lists. hard to

You mean the Favorites list in Internet Explorer? If so, click Favorites
menu, right-click on a favorite item and select 'Sort by Name'

Read somewhere about problem with 'sort by name' not working if more than so
many items in list. Think it was 255 but don't quote me on that.

Been a while since I read it, I think, so it might be fixed by now or you
might just be stuck. OR remove some of your favorites to get yourself down
to usable sized menus.
