msinfo32 and msconfig

I am having trouble with some of the Windows XP commands.
ALL else seems to be working fine. When I try to run
either of the above commands I am taken back to my starting
scrren, just like I don't have authority which I do, I've
tripled checked it. So far everything else seems okay.
