Here is what i get when my machine is in the final startup phase, so far it
dosn't seem to effect the system but its annoying. Any Suggestions Please to
get rid of the error message.
big round red X - cannot connect to file system. Service not running.
It dosn't tell me what file system, or what service is not running... Please
Help.. Thank You
According to the Event Viewer, I have been getting the error messages
everytime XP booted since May of this year but it never gave me any warning,
but last Friday when i removed a few Games that were no longer needed on HD,
and defraged, XP booted into safemode and had to revert back to a previous
startup point, I dont know exact date it took me back to, but the Error
Message now shows up on the screen at startup.... the following was copied
and pasted from the EventViewer.

processing. HRESULT was 80070422 from line 44 of
d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cp p. Please contact

System Section:

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled
or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to
