When I try to run windows update either from the Start
Menu, from an Icon, or from Run|wupdmgr as soon as the
Internet Explorer window opens, the program fails and the
window closes.
If I go in through the product support site it is OK, but
not when running the program. This means that the
automated Windows Update function does not work as well.
Are there some settings I can adjust, or how can I "re-
install" the Windows Update Manager program?
(The file date on wupdmgr.exe is 8/29/2002, 8:00 AM, with
a file size of 32K.)
