reformat

hello. I think i've messed up my windows XP. I've tried
reloading XP but things are still messed up.When i bought
my HP computer, it did not come with the windows XP cd. I
want to start from scratch. How can i reformat my hard
drive and reload windows xp?

Since you have HP, you should have a hidden restore partition instead
of a Windows CD.
HP does it differently than most other computer manufacturers.

You need to check your manual or contact HP for the correct procedure.
