system time resets 20 hours ahead

I am on time zone (GMT-6:00) Saskatchewan. My clock
regularly leaps ahead by 20 hours.




I leave my computer on, so I don't think it's the battery.




I've checked for viruses, so I don't think it's that
either.




Although the computer is networked, it's not part of a
domain. I've changed the computer that it synchronizes with
to a US government time server, but am still stuck with the
same problem.
