some of us have had a problem with netscape 7.1 suddenly not starting.
just did a format windows reinstall. everything was fine.had about maybe
4 of the none critical updates to go.a couple of the (recommended ones)
..didn't do the jet or the .net or fax or movie maker. I'm stumped
.......and mad. click on the exe and nothing happens sometimes the busy
cursor show for a half a second then nothing. if anyone has any ideas
I'd love to hear them.

Why am I not surprised that Windows Updates killed Netscape 7.1 ? Go to
Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel
and uninstall each update until Netscape becomes usable again.

Instead, install all the updates FIRST, THEN install Netscape 7.1. Why
do I say this? Because I have all the latest updates, AND Netscape 7.1
and Netscape works just fine..
