View Full Version : Update To MSN Messenger?

I have MSN Messenger on 3 of my computers (yes, I have multiple personalities),
with V7.5.0311 on each. When I start MSN Messenger, I get a popup offering me a
new version (update this copy on this computer).

Well, I don't have a lot of bandwidth, so rather than updating each computer by
downloading directly, I'd prefer to download once, and copy a downloaded file to
each computer. And, I can use my download server for the download, in the
background, while I'm busy on my other computers.

So, off I go to the Microsoft website. I find MSN Messenger downloads, and it
offers me:
V7.5.0306
V7.5.0311
Lots of older versions.

But nothing newer. So, is there a newer version available?

The one time I don't check a link...

You can find the latest here anyway:
http://messenger.msn.com/download

Don't bother with the Microsoft Downloads site on its own, MSN rarely gets files to them very
quickly.
