This is for messenger 7.5 if you have an earlier version then please
download 7.5 from http://messenger.msn.com

You can turn on message history.
Goto the word (tools) at the top of the mesenger,Select options with the
mouse then click on messages, about too third's of the way down that page you
will see (MESSAGE HISTORY) put a click in the first box and click ok. It
will just save everything she types, if you also put a tick in the second box
each conversation window you open all old conversations will be displayed as
well as the new ones that get typed.

to view the history if only the first tick box has been checked, right click
on any user and select view history

And the first thing she'll do after discovering that this has been turned on is to remove the
history or turn off the feature :)
