XP SP1 error

I am trying to install SP1. When I download the 1.9meg
install program it tells me my version of windows is not
compatable. I am running windows xp home. What do you
mean it is not compatable. Does anyone have any ideas?

Right click My Computer, click Properties.
Does it say "Version 5.1 (Build 2600)"?

What is the source of your copy of Windows XP Home?

I meant Start/Run
Type "winver" ENTER
Does it say "Version 5.1 (Build 2600)"?
What else?
