Task bar missing

I always hibernate my computer when switching off and sometimes when I boot
up at a start of a session, the task bar is missing - to make in appear, I
have to restart (using a short cut on my desktop). Does anyone have an idea
how to fix this? I using Windows XP home. Thanks .
