I downloaded version 1.5 and intalled it on a new dell Inspirion 2200 with w
- xp home.
When I open the browser it never shws a web page.
After I close the browser and then try to shut down or restart the computer
it just stops dead and it will not shut off or restart. I must unplg the
power and remove the battery to shut down.
Any help would be appreciated.
This browser runs fine on another emachine computer with w - xp.

Hi Bill,
I would suggest uninstalling Firefox via add/remove programs in Control
Panel.
Do a virus/spyware scan of the system to make sure it is clean.

Then download a new copy of FF and install it.

This group is for the operating system Windows XP, you'll be better asking
in the relevant newsgroup if you really want help.
