View Full Version : Local Settings directory missing

On my Windows XP my local settings directory is missing
under each of the users in Documents and Settings. I have
lost all of my contacts and emails that were stored in
the Outlook Express. The only Outlook Express files I can
find are under C:\temp. Help! Please!

Make sure you have the Show hidden and system files setting enabled.
Go to Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View, then select Show hiden
files and folders and then remove the check for "Hide protected
operating system files"...
