Could someone help me out with this ,, i have a network running in my house
connecting my computer to my kids.

I have some music files that we share on my "D:" drive that they were able
to get at ,, i recently put in a larger drive and now they can't get into
the files ,,, they can still access the files on my "C:" drive , but not
the D.

What am i missing here?

Thanks

Check the share "names".......Adding a drive sometimes might confuse it
as another drive letter is added to the equation.........

Hi Louis,
Did you enable shares on the D drive, right click on the D Drive and in
share and security, set a share for other users and permessions so they can
have access to the Files.
hope that helps, please right back to the group.

Hi Louis,
No I don't think so,because it is not a network problem it is share( unless
you didn't have network setup yet),go to the Kids PCs and try to login with
appropriate Admin account and see if you could open the D drive.
Hear from you soon, please write back to the group.
It's time to go bed for me.
good luck.

Thanks ,, it was in the permissions ,, i opened the files that they were
able to get into and compared to the ones on the new drive and there were
a couple of permissions that were missing or checked wrong ,, it's all up
and running again,,, thanks for the guidance.
