View Full Version : Task Manager - change priority permanently?

I've noticed that my everyday software (I'm a
photographer) works faster when I boost the priority in
the task manager to "Above Normal". Is there a way I can
set Windows XP to always run these few programs at this
priority? There doesn't seem to be any problem doing it
manually after I open them, it's just tedious.

Create the shortcut that would start this app with
"start /ABOVENORMAL yourapp.exe". Then always start the app trough
this shortcut...

Andrej, Thanks for responding. I'm not sure where to
paste the command you specify.
