Hotfix not available for download

Good day to you all,

The fix mentioned in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article -
816073 will be available in Windows XP service pack 2
(according to Microsoft). Does anyone know when the
service pack 2 is going to be released for Windows XP?
Alternatively does anyone know where I can find out?

Service Pack 2 isn't expected until late Q3 or Q4 this year.
