Hi there..
sorry for my bad english. I have a problem with windows messenger 5.1 and
the VOIP Router Netgear TA612V.
With the old firmware (no downgrade supported) everything was fine. i can
use the windows messenger but with the new firmware the windows messenger
disconnects after +- 5minutes of inactivity.
tested with 2 pcs.. same problem. with router disconnects withou all is clear.
netgear can`t confirm the problem.
-----------New Firmware *_62-----
MSN Messenger 7.x - OK
Windows Messenger Live - OK
Windows MEssenger 4.7.300 / 5.0 / 5.1 .. disconnects after 5mins
(wiht or without the Firewall and upnp)
-----------Old Firmware or Without TA612V----------
All Messengers work great (with or without Firewall and upnp)
Any ideas? Netgear not realy looking for the problem :(
