creating a dvd sample clip

hi there, was wondering if anyone could tell me how to create a dvd sample
clip (like a trailer/preview clip) from a dvd disc...i have nero 6 but cant
figure out if its capable of doin it...if not can anyone recommend a suitable
progamme...wanting to make a clip approx 1minute long....thanks

Personally I recommend full versions Roxio or Ulead

copy to hard drive prior to editing:
