Are Security Bulletins necessary?

Am not a techie. I have XP Home updates automatically
sent. Do I also need to receive/download the XP Security
Bulletins? Is all important info for average user sent
in the automatic updates? Thanks.

there a trick on which line to fill out? Where do I put
