View Full Version : MediaPlayer10 Problem

WMP-10 Problems
February 5th 06, 10:01 PM
A couple of days ago I installed Windows XP Pro and after
that MediaPlayer10.
I notice a problem when watching videos ( for example from
websites such as www.cnn.com and others )
The video plays but the screen shows large vertical bands
of colors, such as blue, yellow, red and they wander. In some
cases horizontal lines appear. The content of the video
shows but the quality is useless.
Pictures are fine ( from a digital camera or other sources )
Where should I start looking and how to trouble shoot this
problem ?

What changed? Are you up to date on your video card driver? Does turning
down video hardware acceleration help?

(speaking for myself and doing this in my free time)
