I have a cd burner but can't seem to burn a dvd

No, to burn a DVD, you need a DVD burner and DVD burning software (usually
comes with a DVD burner)

I have dvd burning software that came with the computer but it won't let me
burn dvd's

1) How do I know if my computer will burn video clips
2) I have a cd burner but can't seem to burn a dvd
3) I have dvd burning software that came with the computer but it won't let
