View Full Version : how do I determine if service pack has been installed?

February 6th 06, 02:55 PM
I have Windows XP Pro. I do not remember if one or both of the
Microsoft XP service packs have been installed. How do I determine if
they have or have not been installed?
best, Aaron

Aaron,

Type "winver" in Start, Run to know the SP level of your system.

Or, type MSINFO32 in Start, Run dialog. The System Summary sheet should
display the information that you need.

You're welcome Aaron. Don't forget the helpful MSINFO32 tool also :-)
