I'm using Media Player 10, fully updated.

I'm getting a static message, in neon green, across the screen that says:
"Audio Track: Input Description" (which it gives) and "Current Input
Bitrate" (which it gives). This only started coming up yesterday but I
didn't do anything to change the settings, except to install some codecs
several days ago (but movies were still watched after that without the
message).

Please help, that message makes watching anything impossible.

What plug-ins are active in WMP according to WMP's Tools:Options:Plug-ins
menu?
