Bruce;
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
Click System Restore Settings.
Move slider to the left to use less space.
You should consider another hard drive.
The practical minimum size for a hard drive is about 4gb (not counting
any applications).

You can open up disk cleanup, more options tab, and the bottom option allows
you to delete all but the most recent restore point.

Jason;
True, but the OP needs to reduce the space used by system Restore.
What you propose deletes all but the latest Restore Point, more
Restore Points will be created and the problem will soon be back..
What I suggest permanently reduces the space used by System Restore.

Jupiter, sounds like we're both right after having read the post again. He
wants to remove current restore points and reducing the space it uses would
alleviate the problem returning. More than one way to interpret an issue I
guess. Thanks.
