Paul: This might not work,but worth a try: go to my
computer>rt click the drive>properties>tools>checknow.
This takes about 30 min. on my unit. Then try a defrag
IF! after XP analyzes and says you need a Defrag.
Also,check virtual memory,you may have overloaded with an
app.
