Hello,

My other half bought a new LCD 17 inch monitor (AOpen). It works fine on this computer with a graphics card in the pci slot. Him and I just built a computer from scratch and the motherboard did not have an onboard video so we bought the GeForce w/3D fuzion graphics card w/Nvidia drivers. After the install when booting up the computer and just before getting to the desktop the system starts over and forces us to select the option of using "last known good configuration". Once we get to the desktop the screen and icons are so large XP asks if we want to resize and of course we say "yes". Any time the computer is shut down or we add a new program we have to go through the whole process all over again.

Any suggestions?

Did you remember to install the motherboard chipset drivers after installing
Windows XP?
