Do I need Win 98

I recently installed XP but still have Win 98 on my system
after the install. Is it supposed to be there or can it
be deleted? Also does anyone know of a source to tell
what the various entries on the task manager mean? Things
like spoolsv.exe, csrss.exe. Thanks Tom Pugh, Houston,TX

If you have a dual boot of Win98 and WinXP and they are both formatted
FAT32, AND you have plenty of hard drive
space I would keep it. Having a dual boot has saved my butt many times.
I could repair WinXP from 98 and vice versa
without having to go into Recovery Console. Also many games I play have
less difficulty in Win98SE.
