upside down text and programs

I am not sure if I am in the right group or not, but I
have a strange problem. When I started my computer this
morning, everything is upside down on the monitor and
backwards. I tried the monitor settings (degauss,
horizontal, zoom, etc), but it didn't change anything,
and the settings box popped up right side up too. Odd.
All programs are upside down, icons upside down, mouse
used backwards, etc. I tried restarting, unplugging,
etc., but that did not change anything. I physically
turned the whole monitor upside down to be able to use my
computer normally (kind of). I would appreciate any help
or suggestions anyone may have about this weird problem.
