View Full Version : Restoring zip file and folder functionality in Windows XP

At some point, I must have installed WinRAR, which I stupidly allowed to
take over anything it wanted. There is no undelete option on WinRAR, so
using Control Panel, I removed the software. This, however, did not restore
any of the inherent zip file and folder support in Windows XP. For example,
I can create a new folder, but a new compressed folder is not an option from
the New Menu item in My Computer or Windows Explorer.
Is there a way to restore that functionality without clobbering anything
else?
